The banded peacock (Anartia fatima) is a species of butterfly in the family Nymphalidae. It was formerly classified as a species of Heliconius. This species lives throughout Latin America, but is best-studied in Costa Rica; its larvae feed on leaves of acanthacean plants, while adults feed on nectar from Acanthus flowers.
