Hoffmann’s two-toed sloth (Choloepus hoffmanni) is a species of sloth in the family Choloepodidae. It is found in Central America and parts of South America, and like all extant sloths, it is largely arboreal and feeds upon leaves. They typically move at a speed of six inches per second, but can move faster when excited or startled.
