A ghillie suit is a type of camouflage clothing which helps the wearer blend in with natural surroundings, often brush, grass, and foliage. Other specialized ghillie suits can resemble snow or sandy ground. Most are made of a cloth net or similar garment which serves as the base for loose strips of hessian designed to resemble terrain objects or ground detritus. Such suits are commonly used by military personnel, hunters, nature photographers, and anyone else whose aim is stealth in the wild.
