Jurassic World Dominion casts Campbell Scott as Lewis Dodgson

Lewis Dodgson

Jurassic World Dominion is recently restarting production after a long hiatus due to the Coronavirus. As it moves to begin filming again in a few weeks, news has come via Collider, that Lewis Dodgson will be recast, with the character played by Campbell Scott. The article goes on to confirm that Dodgson will be portrayed as the CEO of Biosyn in the film.

Biosyn, as InGen’s rival, has not been explored thoroughly in the films. The organization is most prominent in the original Jurassic Park novels, where they attempt to steal the trademark dinosaurs from Ingen. Now with Dodgson’s long awaited return, it is possible that we may learn what he has been doing in the years between the original Jurassic Park, and Jurassic World Dominion. It appears that this casting announcement is definitely setting up a grand finale for the sixth Jurassic Park franchise installment.

Scott joins the growing cast of Jurassic World Three, which already includes returning stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Isabella Sermon, and BD Wong. Other major returning stars include Sam Neil, Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern, Omar Sy, and Jake Johnson, Daniella Pineda and Justice Smith.

Jurassic World Dominion is being directed by Colin Trevorrow, and he is also an executive producer for the film alongside Steven Spielberg. Pat Crowley will co-produce the film along with Frank Marshall. The film will be released on June 11, 2021, and is currently set to film under the working title of ‘Arcadia’.
