A kick scooter is a wheeled, rider-powered vehicle usually designed for use by a single person. The rider holds onto handlebars and, while standing on the scooter’s board with one foot, propels the vehicle by pushing off the road with the other foot. This vehicle was first sold in the 1920s in European and North American cities.
