Mosquito Net (S/F-CCJW)

Mosquito nets are fine mesh drapes which are hung around the circumference of a sleeping place, creating a barrier whose openings are too small for biting insects such as mosquitoes to pass through. In parts of the world affected by insect-borne disease, mosquito netting is a common defense against infection. The history of mosquito nets can be traced to Ancient Egypt, and very likely into prehistory, as mosquitoes have long been among the most dangerous adversaries of the human species.
