Nikola Tesla (S/F)

Nikola Tesla (July 10, 1856 – January 7, 1943) was a Serbian-American inventor, engineer, and futurist known for his work in electric technology. He is best known for his role in developing the alternating current electricity supply system, which is still widely in use today. Despite fame in his own day, he faded into obscurity in his later years and after his death; he became better known after the 1960s, and even later in the 1990s his popularity surged as details about his more esoteric technological designs came to light.
