Sarkastodon is a genus of carnivorous creodont in the family Oxyaenidae. Its fossils are found in central Asia. It originally lived from 48.6 until 37.2 million years ago, during the Ypresian to Priabonian stages of the Eocene epoch during the Paleogene period. There are two known species, Sarkastodon mongoliensis and Sarkastodon henanensis.
