An antique compass was an artifact owned by Daniel Kon, kept in his penthouse suite on Isla Nublar. It was abandoned after Jurassic World closed in late 2015, and was later lost at sea near Mantah Corp Island by Kon’s son Kenji. Supposedly, the compass was once owned by a prominent historical figure, but the identity of its alleged previous owner has yet to be revealed. Liquid-filled magnetic compasses in this style were first produced in the early twentieth century, so any historic figure from roughly a hundred years before the compass was lost in 2016 could have been a prior owner.
