Nublar Eyespot Butterfly (S/F-CCJW)

An unidentified species of butterfly identifiable by large eyespots on the forewings is found on Isla Nublar and was recorded in a field guide made by Darius Bowman in 2016. It somewhat resembles a metalmark butterfly from the family Riodinidae. Whether it is a mainland species, or one endemic to Isla Nublar, is currently unknown. The field guide illustrations are too stylized to determine its exact species.
